Horseback Riding Lessons for adults and children, ages 10 and up.
Our Horseback Riding Lessons are different than most. They emphasize horsemanship just as much as riding, helping students build a true partnership with the horse from the very beginning.
We start with grooming and tacking, then move into groundwork. During this phase, you’ll learn how to communicate with the horse from the ground in a round pen—developing trust, understanding the horse’s mindset, and building a connection rather than simply controlling movement from the saddle.
Once effective groundwork and communication are established, riding skills are introduced and developed through hands-on Horseback Riding Lessons.
Our lessons are not held in an enclosed riding arena. Instead, Horseback Riding Lessons take place in open areas and wooded trails, offering a more natural and practical riding experience.
Lessons are geared toward the Cowboy–Cowgirl Western approach, focusing on clear communication, confidence, and real-world riding skills.
Cost: $70 per/hour*
